Claimed Possession by Cari Silverwood
This is the story of Sawyer and Aribelle on the world of Aerthe.
When she first meets Sawyer, her fear of him makes Aribelle do something foolish – she orders her men to cut off his balls. This is not an auspicious beginning.
In spite of her castration notions, when a Scav warband comes calling he saves her life. Ex-special forces, calculating, and slow to anger, Sawyer is also slow to cool down. Aribelle has definitely riled him.
His plan: to rise above slavery, to become a big man in this strange new world, and to find his sister, Fern.
As for Aribelle, she owes him and he intends to cash in the debt. She’s his, no matter how she much she wriggles and squirms.
With war brewing, with a JI-mech almost dying at his feet, and with a girl to claim, things are about to get interesting for this one human man in a world of warriors, mechlings, and the landships of the Swathe.
Inspired by the Gor series by John Norman
Warning: This is a dark erotic story with complete power exchange. If you don’t understand where dark romance can go this may not be the story for you.
Science Fiction, Dark Eroitca
This book primarily focused on three things.
The world this author built is one of the best & unique alternate worlds I’ve read. It’s a mixture of difficult & harsh living, but also a world with magic & mystery. It’s not easy to describe because it’s a complex world with many layers. It’s a world I find both fascinating & intriguing, it’s a little horrific also, but that’s part of the fun of reading it.
The main characters in this book are Sawyer & Aribelle. Like the world this is set in, both these characters are unique & complicated. Sawyer has thought of himself as a good man with strong morals, but the world of Aerthe is changing him. Aribelle’s actions spoke louder than her words. I wanted a bit more dialogue from her, but it was a good show of character rather than a telling of.
The erotica is dark & twisty with a sadistic dominant male. It’s definitely for those that like dub/non-con & non-con BDSM content.
I highly recommend this to those that love both alternate world settings & dark romance-erotica.

Cari Silverwood is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling writer of kinky darkness or sometimes of dark kinkiness, depending on her moods and the amount of time she’s spent staring into the night.
When others are writing bad men doing bad things you may find her writing good men who accidentally on purpose fall into the abyss and come out with their morals twisted in knots.
